You've opened your Shop... Now What?
Top Seller Tips to Making Your Shop a Success

A professional-looking Shop and the tools to build, manage and grow it put you on a level playing field with even the largest online retailers. Here are some of the tips from other successful Shop sellers. Let these help you put your Shop over the top!

How can Shop Inventory listings increase your bottom line?

I see Shop items as "Point of Purchase" items.

People wander into your Shop in the mall. Others have what you have, be it clothes, jewellery, shoes, electronics, books, etc. They come to your Shop because you are in the Shop Directory, not necessarily because they know you have exactly what they want.

You have to entice them to buy MORE than one thing they were looking for that you happened to be selling. So you entice them by putting your expensive items up on mannequins (ie: pictures with links in your auctions). You entice them by asking them as they complete the purchase, whether they need socks or earrings - something they did NOT come in for (ie: merchandising relationships).

Those are things people don't see when they visit the Shops Directory. You have to internally advertise to them. That's what having a Shop is all about!
