3. Check the seller’s feedback ratings, past transactions and reviews.
From the item page, click on the number in brackets after the seller’s User ID. From here you’ll see what other buyers have had to say about doing business with the seller.
4. Decide how much you’re willing to pay for the vehicle.
To see what a vehicle is worth, look at similar eBay listings or check from a reliable source in the used car or bike market.
5. Find out other costs of ownership
Like financing, insurance, fuel consumption, condition of tyres and replacement of parts if any.
6. Check the terms of sale.
Check just how and when the seller wants you to pay and collect the vehicle. Do not send any advance payment to the seller.
7. Remember, your bid is a legally binding offer

8. Consider Buy It Now
Buy It Now is a fixed price format that is made available by sellers for buyers to close the sale immediately at a given price.
9. Search for listings with Best Offer
Best Offer is a feature that allows sellers who have opted for Buy It Now to offer prospective buyers the ability to make a offer on the listing. You can make the offer by clicking on the Best Offer link on the item page of the listing you are interested in buying. The seller has the right to accept or decline your offer. If accepted, the transaction closes instantly.

What if I have doubts or questions about an item I am looking at or bidding on?
You never need to bid on or buy an item you’re not sure about. If you have any doubts or questions, just ask the seller a question before you bid or use Buy It Now . What happens if the car is not as described by the seller in the listing?
When you see the vehicle if it is not as described by the seller in the listing then you may be under no obligation to complete the sale.
I have just bid and the listing says I am the highest bidder but adds "Reserve not met" – what does this mean?
Some sellers choose to list their vehicle with a reserve price that cannot be viewed by buyers. If “Reserve not met” is displayed , then the sale of the vehicle is not completed at the end of the listing as the seller is not obliged to sell the item below the reserve price. You need to keep bidding until “Reserve met” is displayed, at which stage both buyer and seller are obliged to complete the sale.
Do I have to pay for the car before I see it?
You are not obliged to do so. We encourage you not to pay before you have inspected all details of the vehicle. You can do so after you are the winner and have completed all formalities post the sale.
I can’t find the car I am looking for, what can I do?
Hundreds of vehicles are listed on eBay Motors every month. Keep checking to see if the vehicle you are looking for has been listed.
I see vehicles listed at very low prices. Are they for real ? Will I really get a car or Bike for that price?
Many vehicle sellers list their vehicles at a very low starting price to increase interest in them. Most will also use a reserve price so that they do not have to sell until the bidding reaches a minimum amount. . Make sure you get to know your seller by checking their feedback rating and contacting them with any questions you have before you bid on or purchase an item.
I have found the car I want to buy but it is located in a different state, should I bid on it?
eBay Motors offers vehicle buyers the ability to buy from across states if the price is good. Please interact with the seller and state that you are from another state. Also please find out the cost of transporting it from a shipper or whether you are going to drive back and cost of registering it in your state from the RTO. Calculate these costs before bidding for a vehicle and completing a sale.
