What is this policy?
eBay policy prohibits falsifying or omitting your name, address, and/or telephone number (including use of fax machines or disconnected numbers).

How does this policy get violated?
Giving false contact information leads to violation of this policy.

Violations of this policy may result in one or more actions, including
  • Indefinite suspension of a user's account
  • Temporary suspension or a formal warning
*** eBay will consider the circumstances of an alleged policy violation and the user's trading records before taking action.
