Do I need to carry any document while coming to inspect the cars? |

Yes. You need to carry your valid photo proof of identity. It maybe your valid PAN card, passport, driving license or Voter’s ID card. This is to ensure that only genuine buyers are allowed on the platform. Seller reserves the right to keep a copy of the identity proof for records and such storage of your information would be subject to any privacy policy of the seller. eBay.in may obtain a copy of such identification proof from the seller. |

We encourage buyers to pre-select the cars you are interested in from the information available on our website. This is in your interest as it will save your time. At the point of entry, seller or seller’s representative will ask you to list out the cars you are interested in, and take you directly to inspect those vehicles. |

What is an ‘Auction Access’? Is it mandatory to acquire an ‘Auction Access’? |

‘Auction Access’ is an advance security deposit for bidding on a car. Each ‘Auction Access’ allows you to bid on one vehicle of your choice. Acquiring an ‘Auction Access’ is the only way to participate in an auction. At the same time, acquiring an ‘Auction Access’ does not bind you to bid for that car.
E.g. If you have acquired ‘Auction Access’ for car A, you can bid on that vehicle. If you also want to bid on Car B, you will need another ‘Auction Access’ for Car B. Each ‘Auction Access’ is tied to the car for which it has been acquired. Thus, the number of ‘Auction Access’ you need to acquire will be equal to the number of vehicles you wish to bid on. |

How can I acquire an ‘Auction Access’? |

‘Auction Access’ can be acquired by paying a fully refundable security deposit of Rs. 2,000 (Rupees Two Thousand Only).
In every car listing, there is a link for acquiring the ‘Auction Access’ for that car. If you are interested in that car, click on the link and it takes you to an INR 2000/- listing. You can buy this ‘Auction Access’ listing using eBay’s secure payment system PaisaPay. Please allow us an hour to activate you in the auction. |

Why do I have to acquire ‘Auction Access’, an advance security deposit for bidding on a car? I commit to pay when I have successfully won an auction? |

We want consumers who are seriously interested in bidding and buying the car. In order to increase the seriousness of bidding, we grant ‘Auction Access’ on vehicles by asking for a deposit of INR 2000. |

Is the Auction Access deposit refundable? |
| |
|
Yes. If you are not the highest bidder for a particular vehicle, the corresponding security deposit for that vehicle is refunded. All refunds will happen within 7 working days of the completion of the auction. |

What is Reserve Price Auction? |
| |
|
- A reserve price is the minimum price a seller is willing to accept for the item.
- As a buyer, you are not shown the reserve price, only whether the reserve has been met.
- The seller is not obligated to sell the item if the reserve price is not met.
- The winning bidder must meet or exceed the reserve price and have the highest bid.
- When there is a reserve price, bid as usual, entering the maximum amount you're willing to pay for the item.
- Watch the label next to the current price to see whether the reserve price has been met. Until you see that the reserve price has been met, there have been no successful bids in the auction.
- Once the reserve has been met, the item will sell to the highest bidder when the auction closes.
- If your maximum bid is the first to meet or exceed the reserve price, the effective bid displayed will automatically be raised to the reserve price.

What are the winning and losing positions in the auction? |

When you place a bid on a car, you are in the winning position as long as your bid is the highest. As soon as you are outbid, you are considered to be in the losing position. You can attain the winning position again by placing a higher bid on that car. |

What is Automatic Bidding? |
| |
|
Set your maximum bid and let eBay.in systems do the rest. When you place a bid, we suggest that you enter the maximum amount that you're willing to pay for the item. (You won't necessarily pay the amount of your maximum bid). Your bid is compared to those of other bidders and your bid is automatically increased on your behalf using only as much of your bid as is necessary to maintain your high bid position. You'll get an email confirming your bid. When the auction ends, you'll receive another email indicating whether you've won the item, with an explanation of what you can do next. Your Automatic Bidding limit is only visible to you and not to anyone else.
For example,
The current bid for an item is Rs.10,000. Ajay is the high bidder, and has placed a maximum bid of Rs.12,000 on the item. His maximum bid is kept confidential from other members. Bilal views the item and places a maximum bid of Rs.15,000. Bilal becomes the highest bidder. Ajay's bid is incremented to his maximum of Rs.12,000. Bilal's bid is now Rs.12,500. We send Ajay an email that he has been outbid. If he doesn't raise his maximum bid, Bilal wins the item. |

Do other bidders know my bids? |

eBay limits the display of your bid history information by using anonymous names. All bidders are assigned anonymous names, such as x***y. These anonymous names are used consistently across all auctions that exceed a certain level. All car auctions are private auctions and your identity will not be disclosed to anyone except the seller. |

You can bid on as many cars as many ‘Auction Access’ you have. However, you can bid only on those cars for which you have acquired the ‘Auction Access’. There is no upper limit to number of cars you can bid on. |

- Don't bid on identical items in different listings if you just want one item. If you win both, you'll be obligated to buy both.

What if I win a bid? |

If you win a listing, you're obliged to complete the transaction. You are required to make full payment for the car won within 7 (seven) working days. If you fail to make the required payment within 7 working days, your security deposit is forfeited and your ID may get blocked on eBay. |

Can I place a bid or offer higher quote for a car after the auction is done? |

No, you cannot place a bid after the auction for that car ends. Also, we do not accept offline bids even if they are higher than the final bid amount received in an online auction. Hence it is advisable that you should place your highest bid well before the time ends.; |

I am declared the highest bidder for a car, am I the owner of the car now? |
| |
|
'Ownership' of the car is transferred to the highest bidder once he or she makes a full payment for the car and completes all documentation required. Please note that in the case of re-possessed cars, acceptance of the highest bid and ultimate transfer of ownership of the vehicle is at the sole discretion of the concerned seller which would either be a bank or financial institution. |
