Provide payment information while filling in the Sell form

  • Specify shipping costs, shipping insurance, sales tax and other payment instructions while filling in the sell form. This will enable checkout to automatically calculate the total order value for the buyer.
  • Select or deselect the "Buyer edit" option from My Preferences within My eBay. If you select the buyer edit option you allow the buyer to edit the final value of the order and complete the checkout process. If you have multiple payment instructions for different buyers then you can offer this feature.
  • Specify your complete payment address in My eBay as this address is displayed to buyers when they choose an offline mode of payment.

  1. The buyer edit option allows the buyer to edit the shipping cost of the item while following checkout. If a buyer misuses this option and pays too little in the checkout process you can add the additional amount and send him an invoice.

  2. If you do not specify the above details in the listing, the buyer can request the total order value.
