Seema, Elvis and Zubin are like many youngsters their age. They share a love for music, movies, junk food, and hanging out with friends. But what sets these eBay employees apart is that they know exactly what it takes to succeed in an online business. That's because they form the Top Seller Account Management team for eBay India, where they work with some of the most successful sellers on the site, advising and providing guidance on how to better their business.

Seema Khanna, who has been with eBay for the past four years, is Account Manager for lifestyle related categories like jewellery, apparel etc. Elvis Sequeira, who loves rock music, works with sellers from the entertainment and computer categories, while Zubin Bharucha is an F1 fan, and handles the accounts of sellers from the technology categories.

The three of them are collectively responsible for monitoring business activity to increase the sellers' monthly listings and sales. Seema says, "We also stay in close touch with major trends and initiatives in our categories, so that we can provide up-to-date advice and tips on the category."

"It is also important for us to regularly interact with the sellers to understand their business, their challenges and also to get feedback from them," says Elvis. Zubin adds in, "We form the main point of contact for these sellers for resolving any issues or doubts."

So for three youngsters, who have had the opportunity to interact so closely with the Community, what is the most remarkable aspect of working with eBay?

"Working for eBay not only means working for the best eCommerce site in the world, but having the chance to be also connected with its vast and vibrant community. Where else would we ever get this opportunity," smiles Elvis.

Zubin says, "The best part of this job is knowing that the sellers trust us to give them direction and guidance in their business. To that point, Seema recalls a conversation with a seller some time ago. "We were discussing a new site feature that he was initially unhappy about. However, when I asked him what he felt about it, he said that no matter what my opinion is, you will somehow convince me to see the positive side of it," she laughs.

Another interesting fact about them is that all of them trade regularly on eBay. Elvis leads with a Feedback Score of 62 and mostly trades in coins and stamps. Zubin, who has a score of 51, is also a coin trader and rates the purchase of the "Akbar ile ilhie" coin series as his most memorable purchase. Seema, who is a self-confessed movie buff, mostly buys movie CDs and has a feedback score of 14.
