Mumbai, May 18, 2011: eBay India, India’s leading eCommerce marketplace, which is the one stop shop for official T20 merchandise of all 10 teams, reveals that Mumbai is the Top T20 city on eBay India with the most T20 Merchandise being bought by Mumbaikars. Bangalore features in second place followed by Chennai, Delhi & Hyderabad.
The eBay India ‘Battle of the Fans’ is a barometer which measures the popularity of an T20 team by the quantity of team merchandise bought by fans on eBay. All 10 T20 teams are contenders of the Battle of the Fans. Fans from across the country and abroad are battling it out to purchase T20 merchandise and support their favorite teams. Mumbai Indians are riding on top with 36% followed by Chennai Super Kings at 16%, Pune Warriors India at 15%, Kolkata Knight Riders at 11%, Deccan Chargers at 8% and Kochi Tuskers Kerala at 8%. The bottom three teams on the chart are Kings XI Punjab followed by Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils. Rajasthan Royals have not yet made its debut.
The Battle of the Fans are updated daily and the all sports fans all over world can move their team scores by logging onto www.eBay/t20 and buying merchandise of their favourite team. Apart from India, other countries who are actively buying T20 merchandise are Australia, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, UAE, United States and United Kingdom.

The auction starts on May 19 at Re. 1 and will end on May 29, 2011.
