Baazee.com - an eBay Company, has offered its platform to the Bollywood & Television Industry to offer celebrity costumes for auction on Baazee.com. The members of the Indian film industry have come forward for HELP, a historic never-before Telethon-cum-Concert for the benefit of the victims of tsunami. Some of the star studded auctions includes "Meet Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan in person", "High tea with Aishwarya Rai", "A Day on the sets with Shahrukh Khan", "A gym session with Sanjay Dutt" & " A day on the sets with Karan Johar" & a host of Bollywood costumes auction of film stars such as Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Dia Mirza and Fardeen Khan. All funds raised by this benefit will be donated to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund. The special tsunami relief fund raising drive kicked off on Jan 6, 2005 and is on till February 28, 2005. In addition, producer Vashu Bhagnani has donated 12 Bollywood costumes worn by cine stars Amisha Patel, Zayed Khan & Arjun Rampal in the movie 'Vaada'. Venus Records & Tapes have contributed 2 costumes worn by Kareena Kapoor in the movie 'Hulchul'. All the proceeds of these 14 auctions will go to CRY's Tsunami Relief Fund.

Indian Television, has also donated 27 television costumes designed by Ashley Rebello. The glamorous outfits were worn by well known TV personalities like Aamna Shariff, Rajeev Khandelwal, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Ronit Roy, Gurdeep Kohl & Rakshanda Khan at the Indian Telly Awards 2004. All the proceeds of these 27 auctions will go to Akshara Foundation & CRY's Tsunami Relief Fund.

Baazee.com is also supporting the CRY Tsunami Relief Fund by involving its more than 1 million strong community of users in a fund raising drive. The fund raising drive involves CRY Child Art Wallpaper being sold on the site against fixed donation slabs from Rs. 100, Rs. 250, Rs. 500, Rs. 750, Rs. 1000, Rs. 2000 & Rs. 5,000. All proceeds will go to the CRY Tsunami Relief Fund. Baazee will also make a matching contribution to CRY equaling the money donated by its users through this effort.
