Jodhpur, Ferbruary 24, 2016: India Post, the Government operated postal system has offered a dedicated counter to eBay India sellers in Jodhpur which is the second ‘Metropolitan City' of Rajasthan. The dedicated counter will be operational at Jodhpur GPO.

The counter will offer eBay sellers with booking of parcels. It will be a one-stop solution for all sellers to have hassle free service at reasonable prices. There are over 70,000 eBay sellers in India who sell both domestically and to over 162 million buyers around the world.

Commenting on this association Mr. K.S. Rajputohit, Asst Director Postal Services, Rajasthan Western Region, Jodhpur said, “It feels great to be associated with an ecommerce pioneer such as eBay. The counter at Jodhpur GPO which will be set up for a month on trial basis and is completely dedicated for booking parcels of eBay sellers that will help in facilitating shipment for merchants at affordable prices. The reach of India Post is phenomenal as it is spread out across the country allowing us to assist e-commerce companies to reach out to consumers in a big way.”
