What is COD ?
COD stands for Cash On Delivery. COD is a payment method where you make the payment for the item in cash, when the courier company delivers the item to you.
How does COD work ?
You buy an item on eBay using the COD option, and the seller ships the item to you by courier. The courier company will deliver the item to you & collect the total item cost in cash as payment for the item.
This payment will then be remitted to the seller.
Can I purchase any item through COD?
Most courier companies only ship parcels worth Rs 5000/- or less. Items with a higher value may not be available through COD.
The product I wish to buy shows COD available, however at the time of payment method selection, I am unable to see this option to complete my purchase.
COD payment option is available only for certain products and for delivery to certain cities. If you are unable to view this option on the payment page, then your location might not be supported by the COD service. You can change your shipping address and have the product delivered to the new shipping address.
COD option is available only in certain cities only and not across the entire country. It is not available for gifting orders.
How long will it take for me to receive the item if I buy it through COD?
Generally, delivery takes place within 7 – 10 days.
What do I do if no one is going to be home when the courier company delivers the item?
Most courier companies will give a call to you before coming over to deliver the item.
I do not normally keep so much cash at home

Can I offer cheque for the payment in place of cash?
No. COD payments have to be made in cash only.

• Please ensure that the telephone number you provide for the Cash On Delivery payment is always available and answered
• It is important that your address and landmark are very clear. This will help us locate you easily and complete the process faster
• Please be available at the designated address with the complete cash as payment for the item purchased.
