Register on eBay India and set up a seller account |
- You will be asked to provide credit card information / mobile number which is mandatory for all sellers. |
Send scans of the following to indiacharity@ebay.com |
- The NGO’s registration certificate - A write up on the NGO - The NGO logo in a jpeg format |
Create an "About Me" page and a "My World" page specific to your NGO. Provide information on the mission,strategy, |
and beneficiaries of your NGO. |
Decide whether you will manage the listings in-house or outsource to an auction management resource – we can |
help you with a trading assistant for the same. |

Only registered NGOs are allowed to use the eBay India charity Fundraising platform. Familiarise yourself with eBay. Check out our Tips for Sellers for advice on ensuring successful auctions! Provide information in your item description about your NGO. Understand our fee structure |
- We currently waive listing fees, 10 day special duration auction fees as well as final value fees for charity auctions. - However any special listing fee such as bold, gallery, highlight, reserve auction fees and shop fees will be charged at actual costs unless specified. |
If creating a High Profile Charity Auction - Be prepared to provide proper documentation to prove the bonafides of your charity |
at the request of bidders. |
