PaisaPay Fee Revision - FAQs

Why is eBay making this price revision?

Ever since the inception of PaisaPay with eBay, we have been striving towards improving PaisaPay services to provide better buying and selling experience. Some of our key initiatives in the past have been, launching of eBay Guarantee*, enable our sellers to offer more payment options on their listings, launch of eBay India Mobile web. We have also successfully provided our sellers complete protection from any fraudulent chargeback and will continue to invest in stronger risk mitigation systems.

In the last 6½ years (since the eBay India launch in March 2005), while we have seen an increase in our costs of providing the PaisaPay service to our users, we have maintained the price of the service. Going forward, to help us continue to provide enhanced service and experience, we are revising the fees for PaisaPay.

Since when is the revised pricing applicable?

All payments done by the buyer using PaisaPay post 23:59:59 IST on 16th June 2011will be subject to the revised PaisaPay fee.
