PaisaPay COD (PsP COD) is a hassle free process where Sellers can offer COD to Buyers without getting into multiple contracts with multiple courier companies.
New Payment options like PsP COD could lead to increase in your sales as COD is one of the preferred payment methods for online transactions.
Is PsP COD available all over India?

eBay will charge sellers 5% of the item value or Rs 125/- whichever is higher for PaisaPay COD.
These charges include the cash handling / management charges, as well as the courier charges of shipping the item. This will be the same across different product categories.
This cost will reflect in the seller's PaisaPay invoice.
Are there any restrictions on items / item condition which can be offered under PsP COD?
No, any item (New & Used) allowed on eBay can be sold via PsP COD provided it is below Rs 8,000/- in value.
How does it work?
Please go through the following process flow:
• Sellers wanting to offer PaisaPay COD' should select the option to offer PaisaPay COD in their listings and agree to the terms and conditions of the courier companies;
• Buyers from PaisaPay COD serviceable locations ( https://pages.ebay.in/sellercentral/cod_supported_pincodes.html ) may choose to order via PaisaPay COD option;
• On the basis of the pick-up and delivery location, the seller will be informed of the courier company for each PaisaPay COD transaction;
• Seller should inform the courier company to arrange for a pick up once the item is ready for shipment ;
• Sellers are advised to ensure that pick up is done within 48 hours in order ensure Buyer satisfaction;
• The courier company will collect the item from the Seller's location;
• The Seller does not have to pay anything to the representative of the courier company when the item is picked-up;
• Seller enters the AWB # into PaisaPay(non entry of AWB # in the system within the stipulated time will lead to transaction being cancelled);
• The courier company will make a maximum of 3 attempts to deliver the item to the buyer;
• At the time of delivery of the item, the Buyer makes the payment in Cash to representative of the courier company and receives the item;
• Courier company consolidate, reconcile and remit all COD payments to PaisaPay;
• Seller receives the payment for PaisaPay COD transactions via PaisaPay remittances after eBay reconciles the remittances from courier companies;
• While all the courier companies identified for this purpose have a track record of good service, the Seller would continue to be responsible to follow up with the Courier company to ensure prompt delivery.
How long will the COD process take?
Approximately 80% of COD parcels reach within 4 days of shipment.
If the buyer is not available for 3 attempts of delivery, the item will Return To Origin (RTO) & will be sent back to the seller's address in about 7 days.
For completed transactions, the seller gets the payment in about 30 days from the date of delivery of the item.
Will I be paying double shipping for RTOs?
In the initial phase, eBay shall absorb the cost of RTOs & the seller will not be charged anything in case of RTO.
My item is large in volume or heavy in weight , will I be charged a separate rate for shipping?
In the initial phase, eBay will not charge differential rates for shipping heavy weight items or on the basis of volumetric calculations. The rates will be as mentioned earlier @ 5% of value or Rs 125/-, whichever is higher.
When will I get my payment for PsP COD transactions?
Courier companies require about 15-20 days time to consolidate, reconcile & send the payment to PaisaPay. PaisaPay will release payments to sellers after reconciling the payments received from the courier companies with the transaction details with PaisaPay.
Hence the remittance will be made in approx 30 days from the delivery date.
What happens if item is lost or damaged in transit?
Courier companies have limited liabilities towards loss or damage of item in transit. On a case-to-case basis, eBay will attempt to resolve claims for loss /damage in transit between the seller and the concerned courier company.
Courier Company is refusing to take my item?
It is possible that your item might a prohibited or restricted item. Bullion, currency, dangerous / hazardous goods, combustible materials, precious metals & stones, certain medicines etc. are restricted and hence may not be allowed by the courier companies.
Will I be able to offer COD outside of the PaisaPay COD option?
In view of the following benefits, it is recommended that sellers use PaisaPay COD:

Can I have a demo / view the product before making the payment?
No.
Courier companies have specific rules for COD transactions. Their personnel are not allowed to carry open packets back.
What if the item is not as described?

Will I be charged separately for PsP COD shipping?
Courier companies charge extra for COD parcels. We leave it to the seller to absorb the cost or to charge a reasonable extra amount for PsP COD transactions. This amount will be clearly visible in the listing & you could review the same before making the purchase.
I am trying to place an order, but the system is not allowing me to choose PsP COD?
PsP COD option is available for delivery only in certain locations. If the system is not allowing you to choose PsP COD, then it is possible that your location may not be part of the COD serviceable pin code list. Please click here to check.

Will I be charged octroi if applicable in my city?
Octroi, if applicable, is payable by the recipient at the time of delivery.
How will I get to know if the product is dispatched?
You will get a mail from eBay once the seller ships the item.
Can I pay using Demand Draft or Cheque?
No.
Currently this facility is only for "Cash" on Delivery. Demand Draft / Cheque are not supported at present.
