Using PaisaPay EMI

Please note that the EMI option on our site may not be available for all credit card issuing banks. If you don't find the bank of your choice to pay with the EMI option, you can complete your purchases on our website using debit cards, credit cards, net banking and other payment options that are available.

EMI - Stands for Equated Monthly Installment. With EMI you pay for the order amount plus any interest charges and additional convenience fees/charges, as applicable, that are levied by your credit card issuing bank in equated monthly installments for the duration chosen by you at the time of transaction. If an item on www.ebay.in offers the EMI option you will see the logo on the search results and item page.

Key features of PaisaPay EMI* :

  • 3, 6, 9, 12, 18 and 24 month EMIs are available as offered by individual credit card issuing banks. It is possible that a particular bank does not support a particular EMI duration and may not be available as an option.

This interest would be charged by the card issuing bank on the order amount equated in your EMIs and would appear in your credit card statement issued by the card issuing bank.

Note: Interest is as calculated on reducing balances.

When you make a transaction using a credit card, the entire amount is blocked on your credit card. However, you'll pay in equated monthly installments for the duration you select at the time of purchase.

Example for purchase via Citibank:

Say your total order amount is Rs. 10,000 and you pay by Citibank Bank Card using a 3-month EMIs option.

You will pay Rs. 10,000 at the time of transaction. But will be charged 12% on the order amount of Rs. 10,000 by your bank towards interest. This will be payable in Equated monthly installments, and will reflect in your credit card statement.

So…

  • Your 3 monthly EMI for Rs. 10,000 would be Rs 3400/-

  • Your 6 monthly EMI for Rs. 10,000 would be Rs 1730/-

  • Your 9 monthly EMI for Rs. 10,00 would be Rs 1170/-

  • Your 12 monthly EMI for Rs. 10,000 would be Rs 890/-

(Note – Interest is as calculated on reducing balances)
