Listing in Two Categories

In this article:

Fees

Category restrictions

Listing in a second category is a great way to reach more buyers and generate more interest in your item. For example: A Stars Wars Figure could fit in both the Toys and Collectibles categories.

Fees:

Listing in two categories doubles your Insertion Fee as well as the fees for most listing upgrades (Bold, Gallery, and so on). Scheduled Listings and Home Page Featured fees are not doubled; Final Value Fees are also not doubled. Please see the listing upgrade section of the Fees page for more information on the cost of this listing upgrade.

Category restrictions:
Sellers can list in any two categories across the site except for the following:

  • Real Estate: You can list your item in two subcategories within Real Estate.

  • eBay Motors: You can list your item in two subcategories within Cars and Motor Bikes.

Note: As always, please list your item in appropriate categories. eBay investigates complaints and will move your item if necessary.
