Scheduling your listings

Scheduling gives you the flexibility to list items up to 3 weeks in advance. You can create your listings at your convenience and control the time they start and end.

Note: To make your listings searchable at a specific time, you may want to schedule them a day in advance. Although your listings will generally be searchable within 24 hours, for Trust and Safety reasons, there are times when this may take longer.

To schedule your listing:
  1. On the Create your listing page, in the Choose how you'd like to sell your item section, click the Add or remove options link.

  2. Select Scheduled start, and then click the Save button.

  3. Select a duration for your listing.

  4. Select Schedule start time, and then select the date and time for your listing to begin.

  5. Complete the Create your listing page.

  6. Review and submit your listing.

You can view your scheduled items in the Scheduled view in My eBay.

Notes:

  • There is an additional fee for each listing you schedule to start at a later time. There's no additional fee if you start your listings immediately. (See the Fees page)

  • Durations of more than 7 days may incur a fee and change some upgrade and insertion fees. Your listing fee subtotal appears in the Your fees so far section at the bottom of the Create your listing page and again on the Review your listing page.

  • If your item doesn't sell and you relist it, you may be able to get an insertion fee credit. (This credit doesn't apply to fixed price listings.)

  • Fees that are charged are those applicable at the actual start time, not when the listings are submitted.

  • On certain eBay sites, the start time of a scheduled listing might be delayed by up to 15 minutes. The listing end time will also be delayed by the same period of time. This applies to listings on all eBay sites in Europe.

  • You can schedule a maximum of 3,000 listings and up to three weeks in advance.
