About upgrades

Here are some things to think about when selecting upgrades for your listing.

• Fees vary depending on the upgrade, the selling format that you choose*, and which eBay site you list on. To see how much each upgrade costs, see eBay Fees page.

• Most listing upgrades are flat fees so it's good to compare the fee to the value of your item. For example, you might promote your item differently if you listed a modern edition of the book “The Wizard of Oz” for , than if you list a first edition in excellent condition for .

• You need to qualify for some upgrades. For example, only sellers with a Feedback Score of 5 or more can use the Featured Plus! upgrade.

• As with listing fees, optional feature fees are charged at the time of listing and are non-refundable.

Combining upgrades

Combine upgrades to promote your item at a discounted price.

• Pro Pack– Pro Pack saves you money while making your listing stand out. Pro Pack combines Bold, Border, Highlight, Featured First, and Featured Plus! and with this combination, you pay less compared to buying each upgrade individually. (Note: Pro Pack is available only to sellers with a Feedback Score of 10 or more. Featured First isn't available with Motors Pro Pack.)

Timing your listing

• 10 day Listing– Select the longest listing available. If you're an eBay Shop owner selling in the Buy It Now format, you can choose a 30-day or Good 'Til Cancelled listing duration.

• Scheduling your listings– Starting your listing at a specific time can be more convenient for you and it can expose your listing to more potential buyers. For example, you can schedule your listing to end during the weekend when more people have time to shop on eBay.

Getting your listing out there

• Home Page Featured− Show off! Your item appears on the eBay home page.

• Featured Plus!– Your item appears in the Featured items section at the top of the search results list page.

• Pro Pack- Get the benefit of 5 listing upgrades rolled into one. Choose Pro Pack and get Bold, Border, Highlight, Gallery Featured and Featured Plus! for Rs. 50 less.

• Listing in two categories− Reach more buyers and generate more interest in your item.

Making your listing stand out

• Bolding, borders, and highlighting: You can emphasise your listing in search results with an eye-catching highlighting, surround your listing with a border in one of several colors, and use bold text to emphasize your message.

• Gallery Picture: Show buyers a photo of your item when they search and browse.

• Gallery Upgrades:  Attract buyers with a larger version of your listing picture in search results with Gallery Plus

• Item Subtitle: Add more descriptive and enticing item information below the main title. This creates more interest and emphasizes your listing in search results.

• Gift Services: Feature your item as a gift and add an eye-catching gift icon next to your listing.

• Add pictures to your listing : Add up to 12 pictures. Your first picture is free.

• Picture Pack : Add extra pictures to your listing and supersize pictures at a discounted fee.
