Using Picture Managing Folders

The My eBay Manage Folders page enables you to create, rename, or delete your Picture Manager folders.

  1. Click the “Manage folders” link next to the folder drop-down menu in My eBay.

  2. Rename, Add or Delete folders by selecting the checkbox next to the folder name, then clicking the Rename or Delete button.

Creating new folders

  1. Click the Add Folder button to add a new folder to Picture Manager. The Add Folder page will display.

  2. Enter the name of the folder in the text box and click the Add Folder button. The Manage Folders page will display with the new folder you created in the folder list. There is no limit to the number of folders you can add.

Note: Each of your folder names must be unique. An error message will display if you submit a duplicate folder name.

Renaming folders

  1. To rename a folder, check it in the folder list and click the Rename button. The Rename Folder page will display.

  2. Enter a new folder name in the text box and click the Save Changes button. The Manage Folders page will display with the renamed folder in the folder list. You can only rename one folder at a time.

Note: Each of your folder names must be unique. An error message will display if you submit a duplicate folder name.

Deleting folders

  1. To delete one or more folders, select the checkbox next to the folder and click the Delete button.

  2. A dialogue box will display asking you to confirm that you want to delete the folders and any pictures they contain. The dialogue box includes a reminder that pictures in deleted folders will no longer display in your items and other places where you have used them.

If the pictures are used in places where Picture Manager tracks usage, then the reminder will state that information. Clicking the OK button in the dialogue box will permanently delete the folder and all the pictures in the folder. Clicking the Cancel button will close the dialogue box without deleting any folders or pictures.

Note: You must always have at least one Picture Manager folder. The Delete Button will be disabled if all folders in the folder list are checked or if there is only one folder in the list.
