Sales are a great way to promote your auction-style and Buy It Now listings in your Shop. You can create sales that are seasonal, for specific holidays, for specific categories, or just to clear out inventory.
You can choose a price discount or a free shipping discount.
Buy It Now listings can be discounted by a percentage amount or by a specific monetary amount. For example, an item selling for Rs.100 can be discounted by 20% or, alternatively, by Rs.20. This means the item is on sale for Rs.80. (Note: All items must be discounted by a minimum of 5%.)
Price sales cannot be applied to auction-style listings. However, you can select a free shipping discount for any listing, including Buy It Now and auction-style listings.
Note: All items with price sales can be discounted by a minimum of 5% and can be discounted up to 75%. The sale price of your appears as a Buy It Now price wherever on the site your listings would typically appear.
