Selecting your shipping costs

If this is your first time selling an item, you will be required to specify shipping. You need to decide the shipping costs and which services to use. This option enables you to enter flat costs for India and international shipping. In case you enter shipping charges more than the maximum limit, you will be notified by an error to revise the charges.

If you are selling more than one item, you can enter a shipping cost for each additional item a buyer purchases. The cost you enter will appear on your item listing. Your buyers will be charged the shipping cost you specify when they pay for the item.

Note: You'll also be required to specify a handling time when you list your item. If you do not specify a handling time, eBay will select a default handling time for you.

Buyers feel much more comfortable purchasing items if they know the shipping charges before bidding or buying.

We'll soon be discontinuing the shipping insurance option.
