Using the Transaction Details Page (For Buyers)

The Transaction Details page gives you in-depth information on the status of your PaisaPay transaction. For each PaisaPay transaction, you will see a Transaction Detail page with status information on payment, shipping and delivery. You can also complete key action points such as confirm item receipt and request for a refund.

Accessing the Transaction details page

You can access the Transaction Details for a particular PaisaPay transaction by clicking the PaisaPay ID in your payment confirmation email, payment confirmation page, or in your My PaisaPay (Paid with PaisaPay tab).

Payment status section

The Payment status section of the Transaction Details page (section A in the image) will give you a status update on your PaisaPay payment. For example, if a payment under process with PaisaPay is approved, the Payment status section will reflect that the payment has been approved.

Order details section

The Order Details section (section B in the image) provides detailed information on each item in your PaisaPay order. You can see details such as total cost and the current status of the item. You can click on the seller’s User ID to see the seller’s contact details.

The Current Status column gives you the latest status of each item of your order and if you’re required to complete an action, the number of days remaining to complete the task in red below the status message.

Each item status is hyperlinked and you can click it to see the item’s shipping and delivery status. Alternatively, you can also click the arrow next to the item status. When you click the status, the page expands to show you the Shipping and Item receipt sub-sections.

  • Shipping sub-section:

In the Shipping sub-section, you can see information on when the seller entered shipping details and when the item is expected to be delivered to you. If the seller has provided shipping details, you can also see the courier name and consignment number.

In some cases, the seller can request for a time extension on the shipping dates. You will need to approve or cancel this request by selecting the relevant option in the Shipping section.

If you approve this request, the shipping timelines will be modified accordingly. If you cancel the request or take no action, the seller will be required to ship the item within the original timelines.

  • Item receipt sub-section:

The Item receipt sub-section is where you can confirm whether you have received the item or not. Depending on the option you select, PaisaPay will release the payment to the seller or initiate a refund to you for the item amount.

Remember to always complete this step once the item has been delivered to you. If you do not take any action within the specified time, PaisaPay will assume that the item was delivered to you and will release the payment to the seller.

At the bottom of the Transaction Details page, you will also see the PaisaPay Phone Support logo, which you can click to contact PaisaPay’s Customer Support regarding your transaction (section C in the image). Remember to always keep your PaisaPay ID in hand when you contact customer support.
