PaisaPay SMS Alerts and Actions

You can stay in touch with your PaisaPay transactions directly from your mobile phone with SMS Alerts and Actions.

For buyers: You will receive alerts for important buying updates like when a seller provides shipping details. You will also be able to complete important actions like confirming that an item was received – all from the convenience of your mobile phone. 

For sellers: You will receive alerts for important updates like when a buyer’s payment has been confirmed or when remittance is sent. As a seller, you can choose which alerts you would like to receive. 

We will use the mobile number you have provided on your eBay account to send the SMS. You will not receive the alerts if you have not provided a valid mobile number located in India.

Adding a mobile number or updating an existing number

 To add a new mobile number or update your existing number:

  1. Go to My PaisaPay in My eBay.

  2. Click the “PaisaPay SMS Alerts” tab.

  3. Enter your mobile number and click the Activate button.

 Note: If you wish to take action on your transactions, remember to select the “Activate PaisaPay SMS” actions checkbox. You will be required to complete a one-time verification for your mobile number to activate this feature.

Choosing your PaisaPay seller alerts

 The selling alerts you can receive are divided into two groups. You can choose to activate one or both the groups. SMS alerts in Group 2 are aimed at sellers with low selling activity 

  • Group 1:

    • Buyer requested refund

    • Remittance sent

    • Time extension request accepted/ rejected by buyer

  • Group 2:

    • PaisaPay payment confirmation (with shipping deadlines)

    • PaisaPay payment rejected

    • Reminder to enter shipping details

    • Refund automatically initiated to buyer

You can always update your preferences at any time.

To change which alerts you receive:

  1. Go to My PaisaPay in My eBay.

  2. Click the “PaisaPay SMS Alerts” tab.

  3. In the “Customise your selling alerts” section, select the check box for the group you want to receive.

  4. Click the Update button.

Deactivating SMS alerts and actions

If you wish to stop receiving SMS alerts, you can choose to unsubscribe. Once you unsubscribe, you will not receive any important updates or alerts on your phone.  

To deactivate SMS alerts:

  1. Go to My PaisaPay in My eBay.

  2. Click the “PaisaPay SMS Alerts” tab.

  3. Click the “deactivate SMS alerts” link.

  4. Click the Yes button on the popup.

Once your SMS alerts are deactivated, you can always reactivate them by returning to the PaisaPay SMS alerts tab and providing your mobile number.
