How PaisaPay Works

PaisaPay provides a completely safe and secure way of making online payments. Use PaisaPay for fast, assured purchases or get your money back.

You may be eligible to receive a full refund on your payment if the seller does not meet the shipping timelines.

Here’s how a regular PaisaPay transaction works:

  • Step 1: You pay for the item using PaisaPay (credit card or online bank transfer). PaisaPay confirms the payment and advises the seller to ship the item.

Note: In some cases, PaisaPay may require additional documents to process your payment. This is to ensure the safety of the transaction. Please ensure that you provide the required documents to PaisaPay at the earliest.

  • Step 2: Seller ships the item and provides shipping details (courier name etc), which will available in your My PaisaPay.

Note: If the seller does not enter shipping details, you may receive a full refund of the amount paid in case of PaisaPay  and in case of PaisaPay COD the transaction stands cancelled.

  • Step 3: You receive the item and confirm to PaisaPay that the item was delivered. For PaisaPay COD transactions,  you should pay the transaction amount in Indian Rupees to the courier/ logistic partner delivery agent at the time of receipt of the item.

  • Step 4: PaisaPay transfers the payment to the seller’s PaisaPay account.

Important: You must remember to confirm whether you received the item or not in your My PaisaPay. If you do not let PaisaPay know within the specified timelines, it will be assumed that you have received the item and you will not be able to claim a refund through PaisaPay protection.

* If the seller is eligible for Express Remittance he would receive the payment for the item once he enters the shipping details into the PaisaPay system.
