A Warranty is basically a guarantee given by the seller that a product is reliable and free from known defects and that the seller will, without charge, repair or replace defective parts within a given time limit and under certain conditions.

Following are the kinds of Warranties typically offered by sellers on eBay India:

Manufacturer's Warranty:This is a Warranty specifically offered by the original manufacturer of the product. It means that the manufacturer will repair the product within a certain time period if there are any manufacturing or other defects found in it after the purchase.
Dealer Warranty: Here again, the seller offers to repair the product within a certain time period if there are any manufacturing or other defects found in it after the purchase.
Replacement Warranty: The Dealer or the Manufacturer offers to replace the product during a predefined period and for predefined manufacturing or other defects.
