When you list an item on eBay.in you are charged an insertion fee. Once the item sells, you will also be charged a final value fee. The total cost of selling an item on eBay.in is the insertion fee plus the final value fee. The fees given below are applicable from 10th September, 2009.

Insertion Fees

Fees for non shop subscribers

1 & 3 day duration listings (in both Fixed Price and Auction formats) will be charged Re. 1.00.

* There will be a special duration fee of Rs.3 in addition to the insertion fee of Re.1 for non shop subscribers listing for a 30 day duration.

Books & Magazines, Movies & Music and Video & Computer Games will be charged zero insertion fees for all listing durations.

Fees for shop subscribers

• 1 & 3 Day duration listings (in both Fixed Price and Auction formats) will be charged at Re. 1.00.

Note: The first 20 listings created by any seller on eBay will not be charged the insertion fee or final value fees. While creating the first 20 listings:

• If a seller lists an item or relists items individually no fee is displayed or charged.

• If a seller uses Bulk Relist in My eBay, the fees will be calculated and displayed on the screen but will not be charged to the account. This can be verified after submitting the listing in the seller’s account.
  
  The Final Value Fee for Multiple Item Fixed Price listing is calculated per item sold, based on the final sale price of the item.

• Minimum Final Value Fee of Rs. 3.00 will be charged.

* The above fees are applicable only if you list a service or real estate using the Classified Ad Format listing. Services or real estate listed with auction-style or Buy It Now listing will be charged a flat rate insertion fee of Rs. 200.00, irrespective of the duration of the listing.

Note: The maximum insertion fee for any Multiple Item Listing is Rs. 90.00.

A Note About eBay Fees

• Selling fees are subject to a 10% Service Tax and 3% Cess (Edu: 2% + Sec & High Edu: 1%) thereon, where applicable. Service Tax and Cess will be assessed at the time of invoicing. Learn more about how your balance and subtotal are calculated.

  Starting February 24, 2009 the India service tax rate has changed from 12% to 10%. For all eBay fees the service tax has been computed at the new rate of 10% for all invoices generated on or after February 24, 2009.

• In the event your seller account is suspended for any reason, any amounts due on your Seller account will immediately become due and payable. eBay reserves the right to immediately charge any amounts you have not previously disputed to the billing method that you are using.

• Good 'Til Cancelled renews automatically every 30 days until the item sells or you end the listing. Insertion fees are charged every 30 day period.

• Sellers pay fees for the right to sell on eBay. Sellers do not purchase exclusive rights to Web pages on eBay. eBay may, in our sole discretion, and without your consent or payment to you, place third-party advertisements on any Web page within our site.

• International Listing Fees, Listing Fees for Real Estate and Services and optional feature fees are charged at the time of listing and are non-refundable.

• Final Value Fees are charged once the item is sold and is refunded in the case of an Unpaid Item Dispute.
