How does a jewellery maker in Ranchi, Jharkhand start as a small seller on eBay and go on to boast of a clientele of international buyers? That's Mohib-uz-Zaman's story.

Mohib (skygiftworldwide) started selling personalized jewellery on eBay India about two years back. "I have been a full-time seller on eBay India – it's my only source of livelihood and, luckily, I have done well enough to support my family," he smiles.

He specializes in p ersonalised lockets with names spelled in English , Hindi , Arabic and Farsi. These products have proven to be undoubtedly well appreciated considering that Mohib is now one of the reputed and well-established PowerSellers on eBay India.

"I think my success has a lot to do with the uniqueness, craftsmanship and attractive finish that my products offer," he informs us.

Like other sellers who have found success on eBay, Mohib advises other sellers to be customer-focused. "I remain in contact with each of my buyers until they receive the item. I believe in 100% customer satisfaction and if there is any issue with my product I immediately send a replacement or advise the buyer on fixing the problem. These are some of the reasons that many of my buyer return for more purchases," he smiles.

Mohib has more to share with sellers. He says, "I have worked hard for a Feedback rating of 100% and a detailed seller rating value of above 4.6 – and I am extremely proud of it. The best part is that I have seen a steady increase in my sales on eBay as a result of this."

I visit the boards daily and I have made many friends on the boards. I post my thoughts and suggestions to members and the eBay Team, because I think it is valuable to be part of the Community."
