Celebrate your cricket passion on eBay Auction of autographed cricket bats in support of Concern India Foundation
Mumbai, September 19, 2005



Continuing with its commitment to support the charitable causes eBay India, India's leading online marketplace, in association with Concern India Foundation, a non profit public charitable trust, presents all cricket lovers, across the globe an opportunity to attain cricket bats autographed by the most celebrated cricket stars.

The exclusive cricket bats that were autographed by the celebrated cricketers for a charitable cause are being put on auction by the Concern India foundation on eBay India. This collector's edition bats are on auction on eBay India from Monday, September 19, 2005 to Friday, September 30, 2005.

The five autographed bats available for auction can be seen on www.eBay.in/charity:

1. Bat autographed by Rahul Dravid Rahul Dravid autographed this bat to support Concern India Foundation during the Bangalore test match in March 2005

2. Bat autographed by Indian cricket team Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, Virendra Sehwag, Mahendra Doni, Harbhajan Singh, Mohammed Kaif, Rahul Dravid, Zaheer Khan & S Sriram autographed this bat to support Concern India Foundation during the Kanpur One Day International in April 2005.

3. Bat autographed by Indian cricket team Rahul Dravid, Irfan Pathan, Zaheer Khan, VVS Laxman, Anil Kumble, Ajit Agarkar & Rajesh Pawar autographed this bat to support Concern India Foundation in Hyderabad..

4. Bat autographed by Indian cricket team ISourav Ganguly , Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, V V S Laxman, Dinesh Kaarthick, Irfan Pathan, Lakshmipathi Balaji, Harbhajan Singh, Anil Kumble, Zaheer Khan, Yuvraj Singh & Ashish Nehra autographed this bat to support Concern India Foundation during the Bangalore test match in April 2005.

5. Bat autographed by Pakistan cricket team Inzamam-ul-Haq (capt), Shahid Afridi, Yasir Hameed, Younis Khan, Yousuf Youhana, Asim Kamal, Abdul Razzaq, Kamran Akmal, Mohammad Sami, Arshad Khan, Danish Kaneria, Taufeeq Umar, Rana Naved-ul-Hasan, Shoaib Malik, Salman Butt, Mohammad Khalil autographed this bat to support Concern India Foundation during the Bangalore test match in April 2005.

All the proceeds from the auction will go to Concern India Foundation, which supports development-oriented organisations in the areas of education, health, community development and the environment.

eBay has been an active pursuant in upbringing charity fundraising, where NGO's like Mouth & Foot Painting Artists Association, CRY, Spastics Society of India, Help Age, Indian Red Cross Society, Cancer Patients Aid Association & Welfare of Stray Dogs along with Concern India Foundation, have discovered a successful platform to raise funds.
