Many Mumbaikars are successful sellers at Baazee. They have joined thousands of Indians who are making their livelihood and expanding their market on Baazee while reaching out to buyers across India.

Ujjval Saraf is a 22-year-old MBA student from Andheri. He heard of Baazee in the year 2000 through TVC. He directly imports Digital cameras/PDAs and other electronics gizmos & gadgets from USA and Hong Kong and sells on Baazee through his id 'Deals4all'.

Ujjval says, "I first started selling on Baazee from October 2000. My initial sales were very good and there's been no stopping since. I have already sold over 8000 items on Baazee. Baazee gives an ideal entrepreneurial opportunity with zero upfront investment and that's why I am not thinking of any other form of business. Selling on Baazee has benefited me in a big way. I have bought my own office as my sales and earnings have increased. It's changed my life too in a big way as I have a regular source of income and as long as Baazee grows, my growth is guaranteed", he further adds.

Dadar resident Bomi D. Rupa is a 24-year-old computer engineering graduate from Troy State University (Alabama) USA. He started selling computer items on Baazee as a hobby. He imports monitors from USA and has been getting orders from there too. He sells on Baazee through the id 'Hitech Solutions'.

Says Bomi Rupa, "I started selling on Baazee because of 2 reasons: firstly as a hobby and secondly, I saw a huge number of offline sellers charging buyers exorbitant prices. Through Baazee, I could sell computer items cheaper than the market rate since there were zero investments involved. The first product that I sold was a secondhand monitor and the response I got was overwhelming. Today, I have customers from India as well as from USA. People now know me as a distributor of Laptops and they sometimes call me "Baazee Rupa". He added, "My tip for new sellers: To come in and make your mark online, you need to sell/offer something different from others, Jara haat Ke".

Devesh Tanna is a businessman in mid thirties from Malad (W) has an offline retail store selling gifts and toys as well as a wholesale business of soft toys. He sells on Baazee through the id: 'Cellphonewala'.

Devesh says, "I attended a Baazee Academy seminar on electronics and cameras and realized the enormous growth potential of these two categories. At the time I started selling on Baazee.com, my business was not doing very well and my self-esteem was low. Initially, I started off with listing soft toys which got a good response. I also spent a lot of time surfing the site and identified more hot selling items that I could source through my contacts. So, I started listing products in the Health and Home categories, basically the "As seen on TV" products and my sales started growing at a fast pace. In fact, one day I received more than hundred orders. Thanks to Baazee, now I have companies calling me up to take up their dealership for online sales and my confidence has grown tremendously."

Mr. Vishnu K. Rathi from Kalbadevi had an offline business and distributorship. He used to supply products to Mr. Devesh Tanna, who helped him register on Baazee. Mr. Rathi sells on Baazee through the id: gifts2gifts.

Says Mr. Rathi, "Selling on Baazee has given me more exposure and more income. I have a lot of loyal buyers who repeatedly buy from me. I have built a strong customer base on Baazee. I get more orders than I used to in my offline business. I had no knowledge of computers and don't even know English too well. But with the help of Baazee, I have managed to build my business on the site. I have sold over 10,000 products".

Aakeel and Nasira Retiwala, a husband and wife couple from Mumbai Central have been selling products ranging from Sunglasses, Laptops, and Palmtops to Writing Instruments & Watches on Baazee since July 2000 through their id "tech4less". Aakeel is in the construction business and his wife Nasira helps him in his Baazee business.

Aakeel says, "When I came to India in July 2000, my cousin told me about the site. I had nothing to start with so decided to try Baazee. My first product was my Toshiba Satellite Laptop for which I got a handsome Price. I have learnt a lot from Baazee especially tackling many customers, their temperament and individual moods. I continued selling on Baazee because you get good returns. In any other business, one would need a workplace. But incase of Baazee, all you need is just a computer and an Internet connection." Nasira says, "Despite being so busy with my daily chores as a housewife I like to spend time on Baazee. The platform is so interesting and keeps me aware of what is happening around".

Mr. Avnish Bajaj, Country Manager, Baazee.com says, "Recognizing the growing awareness and the increasing volume of business transactions happening through the Internet, we at Baazee aim to provide a safe and convenient environment for online trading. Selling from the comfort of their homes, offices or even cyber cafes with zero investment is a unique feature of selling on Baazee. This not only enables its sellers to make extra money but also promotes the spirit of entrepreneurship with a bare minimum of risk. Besides, a nationwide platform gives them an opportunity to reach out to buyers all over the country".
